My goals for language arts this year are to become the top student in my class in language. I'd be very proud and honored to get that award of excellence. I hope everyone tries to do the same.

My goal that I look forward to achieve this year in language arts class is increasing my grades by getting A's in this class. This goal is important to me because if i get A's in this class it can increase my GPA, which i would like that to happen instead of dropping. Another reason is that achieving this goal would make me proud of myself that I am getting better and improving my study/work habits in Language Arts.

One of my goals is to learn about prefixes and what they can do to a word and to fix my grammar. This goal is important to me because it will help me speak English more fluently and create better sentences.

During middle school when I take language arts, I would like to increase my vocabulary. I am currently writing a book and my goal is to become the youngest author to every publish a Newberry Medal book, so vocabulary is a major part-take in my progress.

On goal I would like to achieve in language arts this year is to get better grades on my current events worksheets. It is important to me because I think that my grades went down last year because of them and a few other things.

My goal in language arts is to get A's this entire year, because having an A in one grade brings me a step closer to A Honor Roll.I would like to have A Honor Roll for each trimester because it is my last year at CCS and I want to try my hardest and get a high GPA.

In language arts this year I want to have more vocabulary words to use in my language. I want to talk with big words that no one else may understand. This is so important to me because when I talk I sometimes don't know when to use the right word. So that is why I want to reach a goal in language arts this year in the 6th grade.

M.Yu.....I really agree with your goal. My goal happens to be the same as yours and I agree because it is very important to get A's in Language arts class. However, getting A's in Language class is good but you cant just work on language arts. You have to accomplish on getting A's in other classes such as math, social studies, religion, science, and so on. In order to get A's, you will have to work hard and give it all so that these A's can help you go to the high school you want to attend in 9th grade.

You said that you want to write fluent essays. I just have a question to ask you. The question: What are you going to do to start writing a good fluent essay? One way you can start is by brainstorming your topic before you start to write. After you brainstorm, you can organize your thoughts. Also, you can do a outline for your topic. Thanks for your time and I wish you use this method I told you.

Hannah, you wanted to do better in Current Events and I have a question. How are you going to improve doing Current Events? I think you can try harder and look for the answer in the articles. That's how I started to do when I saw that I was not doing so well. I think you can try to do this method. Finally, I like to thank you for your time and for you to use this method.

My Goal

One goal that I plan to accomplish in language arts is my verbal skills. This goal is very important to me because verbal skills help me communicate. If I don't improve my verbal skills, I won't be able to get my messages through. In one of the SLE’S, effective communicators require a lot of verbalizing. Verbalizing can also help you think before you speak. Sometimes, I can misinterpret some ideas I want to say. Verbalizing is one main goal that I truly want to accomplish.

I agree with the response of Justin Yi. Getting an A is one of my main goals that I plan to achieve every year. Junior high school grades are considered important towards high school and colleges. In order to attend the college of my choice, I believe, in addition to other extra curricular activities, good grades are a must.

My goal in language arts for 2011-2012 is to participate and to take notes. Also i would want to lessen the word "like" when I speak to other people. Becasue I know using the word "like" isn't going to take me anywhere.
