Congratulations to Our Academic Decathletes: They won more awards at the state competition May 4, 2013 than any other school and ended in third place overall. They garnered First Place in Super Quiz by 480 points and firsts in English, Math, and Literature, second place in Religion and Fine Arts, and third in Science and Current Events. The team proved that they deserved to compete with the best of the best.
Congratulations to Our Amazing Academic Decathlon Team!! They followed up their Cathedral High Quiz Bowl Championship with a 2nd place finish at the Sports Arena on March 2, 2013. The team took 1st in Superquiz and seven of the eight individuals. Now it is on to the AJHD State Championship in May!

With the youngest team in history, a 6th grade Superquiz captain, a 7th grade logic captain, we ended up just 58 points out of 1st place. We were the only school with top 10 finishes in 9 of 10 events. Congratulations team!!
