If you could only use one piece of personal technology, what would it be? (cell phone, PC, iPad, other?) Please give reasons for your choice.

If I could use only one piece of personal technology it would be my iPhone because i can call with it, play games on it or download games, listen to music, go on safari, go on youtube, see my emails, and skype.

If I could only use one piece of personal technology it would be my iphone because i can call or skype with it, play games or download games from app store, go on safari and youtube, and listen to music. It's like a mini, portable computer on the go.

If I can only use one piece of technology, it would be a cell phone because there are many different ways to use your phone. You can use it to call your parents, friends, and neighbors. You can also use a phone when your bored or ask what your homework was yesterday.

If I could carry one piece of technology, I would a smartphone because Internet is always available and I don't need to carry other heavy items. Also, a smartphone is small enough to fit in my pocket.

If I could use one piece of technology, it would be a laptop. Laptops are easy to carry around and they contain many bits of information. With a laptop, you can type and print your assignments and use websites to help you in your assignment (or test).

If I had to choose one personal technology, I would choose a cell phone because its portable and you can chat with friends and family members anytime you want. You can also play games on cell phones.

I would use an ipad so I could communicate with others, keep up with current events, and play educational/logic games. With the ipad I would have instant access to the world. For example I could use a GPS app to help find my way around the city. At the same time I could follow my favorite basketball team. Go Celtics!

If I could only use one piece of personal technology, it would probably be my cell phone because I can use it to call for emergencies, or just to talk to my friends and any family members. I also think that having a cell phone with you at all times is important because you would never know what might be going on.

If I had to choose one piece of personal technology, I would choose a cell phone. Modern day phones can do anything: listen to music, check email, serf the internet, call and text others, and video chat. It's endless. Another reason for my choice is that they are portable. You can't always carry a laptop around.

I would choose PC because you can do everything on it, like order food and clothing - which are nessecities - and you cannot do that on the Nintendo DS, or other handheld electronics. With PC, you can also surf the internet and play games or download music. You can't do this with handheld electronics (unless it is an iPhone or iPad, but a lot of people don't have that technology or can't afford it). You can do practically anything on the PC, including order more electronics! :D

I would take a PC with internet connection because there are way more things you can use a PC for. For example, a cell phone would only allow you to call, text, and take pictures. But, a PC would allow you to go on the internet and do research, play games, and chat/communicate with friends on social networks.

If i could choose any piece of personal technology I would choose a PC with internet connection. The reason for this is that with a PC you can both communicate with other people and have fun and play games. The reason I would choose a PC over a cell phone is that with a cell phone you can't really play different games and without a cellular tower near you a cell phone is basically useless.

I personaly like the IPOD Touch becuase its portable. You get to surf the web and you get to do many crucial things by surfing the web, hearing music, playing fun and exiciting games, and its more faster to look up for words. Even though, you can't use Microsoft Word. Excel, and Powerpoint it's very beneficial to the society

I personally like to use the Ipad becuase its big and thick. Its portable nad beneficial to us and the entire world. THere is so much benefit to this by surfing the web, playing games, and espically hearing music. I'm hundred percent that there is one app similar to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

My choice would be a cell phone mainly because of its usefulness and portability. A phone is smaller than laptop or iPad and easier to carry around. A phone can also go on the Internet like a laptop and an iPad. Unlike a laptop or an iPad, a cell phone allows you to call or text friends, so you can stay connected.

I would choose the Ipad 2 because i can make calls and face chat with friends while going on the internet. With the Ipad i can take it anywhere and it does the work of a computer, Ipod, a cellphone, and a camera. Another reason i would choose the Ipad 2 over the others is becaus the touch screen feature, it is not like other touch screen technology it takes the heat of your finger instead of pressure. Also there is the application app that has games for entertainmant. This is the reason I would choose the Ipad 2.

If I could only use one personal technology I would definitely choose iPad. The iPad is less bulky and has nearly equal functions compared to a PC. iPad has great learning applications and they are easy to download.

I would use a cell phone because I could log on to websites that would help me with my studies and my education.I would also use a cell phone so I would be able to contact any of my friends either to assist them if they need any help or for them to assist me if I do not entirely understand what the teacher assigned me to do.

If I could only use one piece of personal technology, I would use my android phone. My phone has gps, and many other tools that can help me if I was lost. It can also help me contact my friends or help me contact the police if something serious happened.

I would choose the iPad because of all the applications I could purchase to help me with my reading, vocabulary, and grammar skills. Also, I know it would help me improve my math skills, and would assist me in doing projects for my other classes. Plus, let's face it. I'm still a kid and would love to play all the different cool games it would come with, and those that I would buy.

My personal piece of technology would be cellphone. I chose the cellphone because you can contact people and communicate. The cellphone is very easy to carry around and easy to access. Some cellphones have internet and a camera. I think that the cellphone is very resourceful.

If i had to use one piece of personal technology it would be the cellphone. Because the cellphone has everything that you need to get some help. You can call with it, play games if your bored, you can videochat if you have that kind of a app, and you can also watch some tv on your cellphone.

My Goal

One goal that I plan to accomplish in language arts is my verbal skills. This goal is very important to me because verbal skills help me communicate. If I don't improve my verbal skills, I won't be able to get my messages through. In one of the SLE’S, effective communicators require a lot of verbalizing. Verbalizing can also help you think before you speak. Sometimes, I can misinterpret some ideas I want to say. Verbalizing is one main goal that I truly want to accomplish.

My iPad

The one piece of personal technology I would keep would be my iPad. The reason I would choose my iPad is because I can do anything on it. I can play games on it or read book and magazines on it or even go on the internet! There are phone apps and texting apps so I can use it as a phone. The iPad is easy to carry around and it can store a lot of data. The iPad 2 even has a camera and video calling. The iPad is definitely the best choice.

If I could only use one piece of personal technology, I would use my cell phone because if I were in a life-or-death situation, such as an earthquake, I would call 911 or be able to contact my parents and teachers for help. A cell phone is a great tool for communicating in an emergency and lets parents or teachers know when to pick me up after school activities.

I would choose the Ipad specifically because of all it's features. The Ipad provides educational apps or other games. The Ipad also provides a camera to take pictures on a trip. The Ipad also has the internet feature and can keep in contact with friends and family, it can also do the work of a cellphone. The Ipad is a cellphone and a computer in one piece of technology. This is why i choose the Ipad.

So I would like to comment on all the people who chose iPhone. I think you chose a good piece of technology, better than the computer becuase it is portable. You can do everything on the iPhone that you do on the computer but the difference is you can take it everywhere.

I agree with Marcela because without cell phone our world wouldn't be where it is right now. We would still be using the postal service, which takes a long time. During emergencies you wouldn't be able to contact anyone.

I do agree with Marcela that a phone is more useful and portable than a laptop or an iPad. I also enjoyed the fact that she listed the reasons why a phone is more useful. It would have been better if she gave more reasons why a phone is better than other electronic devices. I also noticed that she wrote serf instead of surf.

I agree with Bryon. I would choose the iPad because you can search the internet, call somebody, and it has a wide variety of apps. There are educational apps and if I don't know what a word means or how to spell it I could go to the dictionary. That's why I would choose the iPad.

I really do think that you have proved a point with the 911 situation because if we are in danger then how can we use a computer or an iPad. If you are underground and stuck in an earthquake how can you call someone when you do not have any signal but i really did like what you put.

I would choose an Ipad, like many other people, because I like all of the apps that you can download. They seem fun and interesting. I think that all of these apps can help you learn and help you with your work

I agree with you Emie, you can call with it in case of emergency. Go to safari in case of instant internet. Play games when you are bored. And also download music to listen. It is also pocket-sized.

Honestly, I think I would use my laptop because it is so resourceful to and its there when I need it.
